[symple_toggle title=”What Materials are used?”]
The Stushlery Standard
Stushlery uses only the finest quality materials and components, such as:
The Swarovski crystal components are regarded as the highest quality machine cut and polished crystal beads in the world since 1892.Sometimes some of their crystals receive a special metallic type coating which can create a new kind of reflection. One kind is Aurora Borealis, or “AB” as it is often referred to, which gives the crystal a kind of rainbow, oil slick kind of appearance on its surface.
Stushlery uses a wide range of Swarovski elements when designing and making individual pieces.
Definition: A precious or semiprecious stone that may be used as a jewel when cut and polished.
Stushlery uses a range of Gemstones Such as Tiger Eye, Onyx, Rose Quartz, Goldstone to name a few.
Sterling silver is at least 92.5% silver and up to 7.5% other metals, usually copper, and is stamped with either the word Sterling or .925 or the Lion Passant mark. Fine silver (99.99% pure) is generally too soft for producing large functional objects.
Sterling silver is the Stushlery standard unless otherwise stated.
Gold-filled jewellery, also known as “rolled gold” or “rolled gold plate” is composed of a solid layer of goldbonded with heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass. Some high quality gold-filled pieces have the same appearance as 14 karat (58%) gold. In the USA the quality of gold filled is defined by the Federal Trade Commission. If the gold layer is 10 kt fineness the minimum layer of karat gold in an item stamped GF must equal at least 1/10 the weight of the total item.
This form of gold is the Stushlery standard, unless otherwise stated.[/symple_toggle]
[symple_toggle title=”How do I care for my Stushlery”]
It is recommended that you store your jewellery in the pouch it comes in as this will help protect it and keep the jewellery in good condition.
To maintain the condition of your jewellery, remove it when bathing, washing up or undertaking any strenuous tasks.
Take care to protect your jewellery from all forms of cosmetics such as perfume and hairspray as they can cause discolouration and tarnishing to your jewellery.[/symple_toggle]
